General

  • Included in your entry fee is access to the 24 hour, 5 mile trail route with a water station half way and lots of encouragement and support along the way!

Access to our Basecamp for overnight camping is included in your entry fee, where there will be food and drink concessions, entertainment, and bar.

  • Our events are designed to challenge, whatever your fitness level. Some runners aim for a specific number of laps while for others, completing the event as a team is the goal. Whichever you are, with the right preparation, you can do it!

  • Entry is for participants aged 18+ to be a pair / team runner, or 21 years or over to be a Solo runner.

We also have a free Kids Mini Mile on the Friday evening.

  • We aim to cater for all abilities at this event.

Whether you walk or run, as long as you can complete at least one 5 mile lap in 24 hours, you are welcome to take part!

  • Awards are given to the top male and female solo runners and to the top female, male and mixed teams in the Pairs, Small and Large Team categories. Teams entered into the XL Team category of 9+ runners are not eligible for awards.

Awards are based on the most number of laps completed within the 24 hours that the route is open. You must have completed this by 12.59.59pm on the Sunday afternoon.

  • UTMB points are not available for this event.

  • Yes! Our free Kids Mini Mile takes place on the Saturday morning. Details on how to register your child will be confirmed by the Summer.

  • If you would like to volunteer on an event please visit the dedicated Volunteering page for more information.

    Volunteering will be split into four ‘shifts’ - 12:00PM - 6:00PM, 6:00PM to 12:00AM, 12:00AM to 6:00AM and 6:00AM - 12:00PM

  • Run Sandringham 24 is a trail running relay event. For those entering as a ‘Pair’ or ‘Team’, only one of the runners can be on course at any one time, to count towards the team mileage.

However, if a group of four runners is looking to enter, you could enter as four solos if you all wanted to run at the same time, or entering as two pairs, two of the four runners could run at any one time.

Entry Info

  • You can enter the event as a solo runner, a pair runner or part of a team. We also offer camping passes for supporters.

  • The closing date for entries is midnight on the Sunday 2 weeks prior to the event. No entries will be accepted after this time. If the event is completely sold out, then entries will close earlier.

  • Registration Packs will include your race number, timing chip, exchange band and t-shirt. You will receive these prior to the event start from the Event Village onsite.

Our Event Info Guide will be published on the event website nearer to the event which will contain all information you will need.

  • We welcome team entries from pairs up to 12 team members.

    Team Category

You can enter a mixed, female or male team into the event. Team categories are as follows:

Pairs; Small Team (3-5 team members); Large Team (6-8 team members); XL Fun Team* (9-12 team members)

*Please note those taking part in an XL Fun Team are not eligible for awards.

    Entry

Each team member can enter individually and join or create a team during the registration process. Team captains, (those who create the team) are able to pre-pay for members or invite team members to pay and register themselves. Details can be edited after registration through the 'My Events Portal' on the registration system.

    Team Captain

Whilst each team member can now pay and register themselves online, the team captain has an extremely important role in managing the team that will take part in the event. The Team Captain has the responsibility of ensuring all team members are aware of the rules and particularly the health and safety aspects of the event. The team captain can be a runner, or a supporter who is not taking part in the event. It is important to have someone managing the run schedule and checking that everyone is ok. You should also allocate a deputy for sleep breaks.

    Editing Your Team Entry

It is possible to edit the size and the composition of your team ('Male', 'Female', 'Mixed') before the event. To do this please follow the steps below:

Log onto your 'My Events Portal'

    Select 'Edit Registration'

Make the relevant changes to your team entry i.e. team size and/or team composition ('Male, 'Female', or 'Mixed')

    On the Event

Teams start with the main race at 12.00 noon.

They then carry on running as many laps as they can for 24 hours.

Only one member from each team can run at any one time.

Each member of the team must complete at least one lap.

You cannot use runners not registered in your team.

Always leave the course at the exchange point or you risk the timing system missing you and your results being incorrect.

Always enter the course at the exchange point or you risk disqualification.

You do not have to have someone on the course at all times.

Teams can take a break and resume later in the race.

You can opt to start later than 12.00 noon if your team would like to avoid the early busy laps.
