RUN SANDRINGHAM is a brand new event series taking place in 2021. In its inaugural year, over 3,000 runners will be taking part, with the Half marathon, 5K and Community Mile taking place on Sunday 20th June 2021.

Over 3,000 runners are taking part in the events in 2021. Last year we saw the event series launch and regisrations were so popular. aunch of fresh branding and a new website and entry to the races was as popular as ever. We have a very active social media strategy and are achieving great engagement and positive feedback about the races.

We continue to seek the involvement of Norfolk businesses as we evolve the 2021 event into greater community participation, and are pleased to announce that there are a number of sponsorship opportunities available. These offer local companies a chance to be associated with a high profile event with a far reaching audience. We will allocate these on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
These are as follows:

Gold Level (A) Sponsorship (1 available @ £4,000)

This covers the cost of 4 x water stations which are located throughout the runners’ courses.

For this, your company will receive:

  • A company logo would appear on two large Run Sandringham banners, supplied by us. Banner to read ‘Water sponsored by xxx under the marathon logo). One will be displayed in the Estate two weeks prior to the Marathon, the other will be sited near the marquee at the finish line (where many runners and their families congregate during and after the race).

  • An opportunity to place a company representative at each of the eight water stations (in company branded tee shirt) helping our volunteers to hand out water to the runners.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • A mention on our Twitter and Facebook feeds on a time and date of your choice.

  • A mention in all press releases prior to and following the marathon, referring to ‘water sponsored by xxxx’.

Gold Level (B) (2 available @ £1,500 each)

1. This covers the cost of the prizes given to runners. Sponsors would receive:

  • A banner with Run Sandringham logo and your company logo and company name, supplied by us, to read ‘Prizes sponsored by (company name).’ This will be displayed at the Winners Enclosure where the winners receive their prizes and where photographs are taken of the presentations.

  • An opportunity for a company representative to present the prizes with the Rotary President.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page plus your logo on our Prizes page.

  • A mention on our Twitter and Facebook feeds on a time and date of your choice.

  • A mention in all pre and post marathon press releases referring to ‘prizes sponsored by xxxxx’.

2. This covers the cost of the Medical Cover for the event. Sponsors would receive: 

  • A banner with Run Sandringham logo and your company logo and company name, supplied by us, to read ‘Medical Cover sponsored by (company name).’ This will be displayed on the Medical Marquee which will be seen by all runners as they approach the finish line and all spectators at the finish area.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • A mention on our Twitter and Facebook feeds on a time and date of your choice.

  • A mention in all pre and post marathon press releases referring to ‘Medical Cover sponsored by xxxxx’.

Silver Level (A) Sponsorship (8 available @ £500 each)

This covers the cost of one Water Station. Sponsors would receive:

  • A banner with Run Sandringham logo, your company logo and company name, supplied by us, to be displayed at ‘your’ water station saying ‘this water sponsored by (company name)’.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • One mention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds on a day/time of your choice

  • The opportunity to place a company representative at each water station (in company branded tee shirt) helping our volunteers to hand out water to the runners.

Silver Level (B) Sponsorship (5 available @ £500 each)

1. This covers the cost of the bananas given to the runners after their race. Sponsor would receive:

  • A banner or poster featuring Run Sandringham logo and your company name, supplied by us, to be displayed at the banana station saying ‘Bananas sponsored by (name of company)’.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • One mention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds on a day/time of your choice

  • The opportunity to station a company representative at the banana station (in company branded tee shirt) helping our volunteers to hand out bananas to the runners.

2. This covers the cost of providing the equipment in the refreshment tent. Sponsor would receive:

  • A banner or poster featuring Run Sandringham logo and your company name, supplied by us, to be displayed at the Refreshment Marquee, wording suggestion – ‘Take a Break With (name of company)’.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • One mention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds on a day/time of your choice.

3. This covers the cost of providing access on the Greenway. Sponsor would receive: 

  • A banner or poster featuring Shakespeare Marathon logo and your company name, supplied by us, to be displayed along the Greenway.

  • The opportunity to place your own additional banners along the Greenway, along with motivational messages to runners.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • One mention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds on a day/time of your choice

4. This covers the cost of Sponges handed out to runners along the course. Sponsor would receive:

  • A poster featuring Run Sandringham logo and your company name, supplied by us, to be displayed at ALL Water Stations.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • One mention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds on a day/time of your choice

  • The opportunity to station a company representative at the Water Stations (in company branded tee shirt) helping our volunteers to hand out water to the runners.

5. This covers the cost of 2k flags issued to Race Supporters and their families to wave during the event. Sponsor would receive:

  • Paper Hand Waver Flags of 130gsm silk paper with a child safe stick. Can be printed with a 4 colour process with different designs on each side, featuring Run Sandringham logo and your company name/message, supplied by us.

  • Your logo as a Race Sponsor on the home page of our website and your logo, company advert and link to your website on our Sponsors Page.

  • One mention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds on a day/time of your choice

  • The opportunity to station a company representative at the Start and Finish areas (in company branded tee shirt) helping our volunteers to hand out the flags to supporters.

Bronze Level (A) Sponsorship (10 available @ £100 each)

Sponsor would receive

  • Space for own banner (no larger than 1.5m x 35cm) to be displayed at the finish line (and so seen by 3,500 runners and families watching them finish).

  • Your company’s logo, description and a link to your web page on ‘our sponsors’ page of our website.

Bronze Level (B) Sponsorship (26 available @ £50 each)

Sponsor would receive:

  • Your company logo on a mile marker, size A2 printed in colour single sided on 4mm Correx provided by us, to be sited on a mile marker on the course of the marathon (and so seen by 3,500 runners).

  • Your company’s logo, description and a link to your web page on ‘our sponsors’ page of our website.
